A new nationalist party, ‘The Danish Party “, has seen the light.
A number of mainly younger defectors from the Danish National Socialist Movement founded the Saturday party.
The party’s aims among others are to repatriate non-European foreigners, pulling Denmark out of European cooperation in the EU and fight for the environment.
Initially “The Dane’s Party” plans to run for municipal and regional elections in 2013.
“I think there’s a really good chance to be elected, because the politicians have betrayed the Danes. We are still experiencing a massive immigration, and we are still ruled by the EU, despite promises to the contrary. And it is how, we come into the picture, “says the 21-year-old party leader Daniel Carlsen.
“Fighting for Danes”
Daniel Carlsen and several other members of the Danish National Socialist Movement left the party in April, and today he describes himself as a ‘modern nationalists’ who believes in a free democracy, and needs to take care of the Danish people’s interests.
“We are all Danes, before we are anything else. Before one is an academic, one Dane, before one is worker, one is a Dane, and although I am a student, I am first and foremost, Dane,” says Daniel Carlsen.
“But in spite of it, so we hear only about parties, fighting for either the workers or scholars, ‘the rich’ or ‘weak’. We never hear about someone who fights for the Danes. But we do.”
Joined by 16-year-old
Daniel Carlsen volunteered as a 16-year-old into the Danish National Socialist Movement and it attracted attention when he performed his military service in the Royal Guard.
There have been made several portraits of him in the newspapers, he has been interviewed by several television stations, and his parents have been in DR’s evening show to talk about his son’s Nazi leanings.
